The Households package is a part of the Nonprofit Starter Pack, a set of managed packages made available to nonprofits.
The Households package provides the ability to aggregate contacts around a physical address (the household). This provides the easier mailings--limiting to only one piece per physical address. Additionally, there is a feature that calculates total donations per households. As of version 1.23 functionality is included for automatically adding Opportunity Contact Roles for Household members of the chosen donor.
You can control which contacts get Households through a simple configuration change.
This package is a part of the Nonprofit Starter Pack and can be installed as a managed package.

- Because the Household package is an extension on the Contacts and Organizations managed package, it is impossible to create an unmanaged version of it.
Known Issues
- Open issues
- Fixed issues
- Households are created by code upon the creation of a Contact. Because of this, setting any Household fields to required may cause automatic Household creation to fail.
