Tech Talk Series: Introduction to Apex Code
The Force.com Tech Talk Webinar Series covers introductory and advanced Force.com platform topics. This webinar provides an introduction to Force.com Apex Code, a strongly-typed programming language that executes on the Force.com platform. Apex is used to add business logic to applications, to write database triggers, and to program controllers in the user interface layer.
This webinar introduces the Apex language, covering its syntax, database and web service support, as well as testing and code coverage. Development-as-a-service and other consequences of the Apex language executing on Force.com are also examined.
